Our family had a fantastic time at the cabin. Nice, big property that backs up to forest land. Lots to do. Fun for the kids and dog. We'd love to stay again!
We have stayed at this cabin a few times. It is in a quiet location, pet friendly and is always clean. The communication is quick and positive. We love staying here.
Just another wonderful trip to our favorite cabin in the pines. The location is just perfect, lots of hiking and creeks and lakes nearby. Nice neighbors and a very comfortable cabin to completely unwind.
Getaway for our 6 year anniversary, my husband and I had an amazing time. The house is adorable inside and out, it is very clean, I absolutely love the large open kitchen with the double oven, for those who love to bake/cook this one is for you! Gorgeous location, so much to do, hike, fish, off road. We look forward to our next visit!
This is the second time we've stayed here and really enjoyed it. The kitchen had everything we needed. Being able to walk out into the forest out back was great. The bed in the master is really hard, but that was the only complaint we had. The host was very responsive and the amenities were great for our family.
We absolutely had a great time at this cabin. Listing is accurate and has everything you need to cook, hang outdoors, or indoors. Cabin is clean and had plenty of hot water for showers. The game room in the loft is the coolest room. We can’t wait to return.
Before arriving I receieved a text from the owner eith a welcoming and informative message. She was super accommodating to our schedule amd very communicative throughout the weekend! The cabin was beautiful and located in such a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by the pines! It was stocked full of games and fun things to do, which my kids loved! We will definitely book again!
My family of six had a great stay. The cabin was small but had plenty of space for all of us. The beds were comfortable. We particularly enjoyed all the games available and the access to the national forest from the backyard. My younger kids were a little disappointed to find that the swings were broken since they were really looking forward to swinging, but other than that the house was great. We had a few minor problems that were our fault while we were there and the host was very communicative and helped us fix the problems quickly. Overall a great stay and would go back!
We did a charity ride on our side x sides from Apache Junction up to Forrest Lakes (9 hr ride on the Rzr). Checking in sucked because the key pad to enter was not working. Batteries were dead. Shannon said there was a lock box on the side of the house, but she didn't have the code to open it. That took a while, well seemed like forever as it was snowing upon our arrival. We were cold and wet. She finally got us in. House was cozy, had everything we needed. The pellet stove really warmed up the house. Wasn't expecting to get hot in there! Showers and hot water worked great! The 2 things I didn't like: 1) Description does state that she has not cable, but can use Hulu or Netflix (there's no Hulu). However, the internet was so bad that it became very irritating trying to watch anything as it kept stopping and buffering. Phones barely had service so we were unable to open our maps to download the trails to get back down to the valley. I was told that that is not just this house, but that service is terrible everywhere out there. Cannot verify. and then 2) never in my times using STR's had I ever had to take my trash with me. Here they require you take your trash with you. Mind you, we are only on Rzrs! Space is already limited and now I have to strap a bag of trash onto the Rzr and take it with me. Completely rubbish! (lol, get it) That probably turned me off the most. Pay for trash pickup! Shannon communicates well and was friendly.
Our family had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and ideal for a quiet getaway. The host was excellent, very responsive and helpful throughout. We would be happy to stay here again.
We had a nice stay and enjoyed relaxing in the cool pine air. Accommodations were perfect for the two of us and we experienced no issues. The Host was awesome and very responsive. A great place to stay!
Great little cabin in the woods. Was exactly as described. Clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay. It was centrally located to the lakes and hiking. We easily drove to Show Low. Would highly recommend to stay here. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.
