"If you are looking for an experience, the Priory does not disappoint. The only room on the property for guests has ties to the Romans from the year 1070. The church itself is decommissioned, but continues to host concerts. Being from the United States, opportunities to be surrounded by such history do not exist. "This was a charming B&B run to a high standard, with so much attention to detail. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming."

"We had a fabulous one night stay as a family at the end of August. The owner was very welcoming and patient with my rusty French! Accommodation was very spacious and clean and it was lovely to sit outside in the evening sun listening to the animals. My daughter particularly liked the cute guinea pigs! We ate in the restaurant for dinner which was delicious and breakfast was included. A great place to stay for visiting the Marais Poitevin! "

"To be honest, there wasn’t much to like although it was cheap. Pretty much in an industrial area, the rooms are adequate and clean enough but the Aircon was not up to the job and there were a lot of bugs in my room. When we were there the restaurant Was inoperable and we had to look for somewhere to eat on the industrial estate. I might have been more forgiving if they had rung to tell us this as we were arriving late after a long drive.I won’t be going back."
