5 The Brothers Wing is a luxury modern ground floor two bed apartment, situated in The Brothers Wing building of a converted Benedictine Monastery.

The Highland Club self-catered holiday accommodation is situated right on the shore of Loch Ness and within 2 minutes walk from the centre of Fort Augustus. Amenities include a number of local pubs/restaurants, the local supermarket and a variety of gift shops.

Whether it’s relaxation or adventure you’re looking for, we’re located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, meaning walking trails and breathtaking scenery is in abundance.

This apartment benefits greatly from direct access to the Brothers Wing courtyard and is in close proximity to parking. In addition, this holiday accommodation is all on one level, making it highly recommended for low mobility guests.

This apartment has 2 bedrooms with two king-sized double beds and two sofa beds. Sleeping 4 people very comfortably, it has the increased capacity to sleep up to 2 more people, therefore this apartment is the perfect choice for families.

This property has views out over the pretty Brothers Wing courtyard and the majestic stained glass windows of The Highland Club Lounge. The courtyard opens out to the beautiful Monastery lawn with views over Loch Ness.

Built within the bastion walls the original fort the Brothers' Wing is a historically significant area of the Abbey, as this housed the original armoury defence of the fort.

The holiday accommodation is tastefully decorated with historical prints of the original fort, coupled with modern interiors. The open plan living area also offers a double sofa bed and the kitchen is fitted to a high standard.

On arrival, you’ll be greeted by our property manager and shown to your luxury holiday accommodation.

Disappointed.

This apartment could be ok if it had some work on it. Although the lounge / kitchen was large and ok the rest of the apartment let it down. Maintenance appears to be none existent with request to replace bathroom bulb and filthy frying pan was not dealt with during our 2 week stay! As for the bedrooms they can only be described as dismal, uninviting and smell of damp. The old wooden furniture in both bedrooms need to be removed and replaced by fresh and clean items because this is where I believe the damp odour originates from. Likewise carpets have seen better days. Bathrooms are ok but once again mould showing around joints and radiators going rusty. I did find out that this property is up for sale? So that might be why nothing seems to be done. So not an apartment I would not recommend. Strangely I also booked 7 The brothers from this company for my family. That was lovely and clean and modern.
