Nice stop for night on way to Inverness. This town is easier to navigate than the larger Fort William which seemed very busy when we drove through. We like smaller towns that our scenic so this fit the bill.

"We were 6 people staying at the apartment for a single night. Apartment was very spacious. The only thing that was missing was sponges for dirty dishes which was a bit inconvenient for making our own meals. Other than that, great stay."

"The location and accommodations were fantastic! Our biggest concern, the stairs, was a nonissue, and we are all seniors. I would stay in the monastery again, should I be lucky enough to return to Scotland."

"Unique location ...close to Loch Ness boat tours, gas station/grocery about 2 blocks away and variety of restaurants. I recommend The Bothy for dinner. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues....up multiple flights of stairs...you should move on. Communication was great and arrival ..."

The Lock Inn has delicious food and an excellent staff. The coffee/breakfast place on that street is great, too. The town itself is picturesque and nestled in a beautiful area. A one-of-a-kind place.
