"We had a lovely stay in Jan Thiel. It is a great area of Curacao to stay in. You can easily walk to restaurants and to the beach. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious. Lovely pool. "

"The house was absolutely gorgeous and at first I was taking it back by the small pool, but it ended up being just the right size. The kitchen was well stocked and and comfortable for cooking and basic living. The deck was fantastic and the view was nothing short of amazing. Cool breezes filled the house most of the time, but when it gets really hot there’s not a lot that can be done. But this is tje carribean. Overall, we were very thrilled with experience just be aware that air-conditioning does not run during the day (this may be islandwide) so heat is a concern and because the windows need to remain open, so is privacy to an extent."

"Heather is an excellent host! Easy to contact and responds quickly. House is exactly as described - great sitting out on the deck each morning and evening (just beware of the mosquitoes- they are viscous In Curacao lol). We only used the AC at night in the bedrooms but kept the bedroom doors closed all day and it kept the rooms cooler (electricity is very expensive on the island). We toured the island each day - took several boat trips with BlueFin, which were Great and easy to get to from the house. Heather gave us several good recommendations for restaurants. If you need a taxi ask Heather for Nai’s info - she’s a great driver with great rates. "

"Very nice, clean property—fully stocked with kitchen gadgets, plates, glasses, and cookware. It had everything we needed. The property had round-the-clock security with a gated entrance, and the gates were locked at night for beach access. We felt safe the entire time, and it was very quiet.The location was great—Tugboat Beach, excellent restaurants, and various activities were just minutes away. The Jan Thiel area, with its beach and restaurants, was only a five-minute drive.The leasing agent Kiarah was very responsive, super nice and gave great recommendations.We had questions about car rental, restuarants,diving.
