Needed a last minute place to stay. Was a little worried about how safe and clean this place would be based on price and there being so many available rooms. Also concerned because there was a smoking/non smoking option. This place was VERY clean. Room smelled great. Towels were fresh. Beds were super comfortable. Felt very safe there. Very quiet all night. Several of us stayed there coming from the Star Party at McDonald Observatory and came in very late but everyone seemed to be thoughtful of not disturbing their neighbors. Now if you are looking for something fancy with a big breakfast selection, this is not the place. But if you are looking for a nice CLEAN comfortable place to stay in Ft. Davis, I recommend this spot. Will definitely be back to stay when we go to the observatory.

I have stayed here often during the summer months and have always felt welcomed and accomondated by all the staff. I usually request a certain room and the manager Peter, makes sure we have that room. I usually stay for a 5-6 day stay and the room staff always takes great care of us during that time. I wouldn't stay any where else while visiting Ft. Davis. The rooms are always clean and the atmosphere is always peaceful and quiet. Mike and Suzy

This is a motel set up, so all doors are exterior doors. Watch out for bugs flying in at night. The location is very convenient to the McDonald observatory. After we were exhausted from the Star Party, it was nice to have the closest motel. Breakfast we the standard continent hotel breakfast. Bedroom seemed updated, but the carpet needs to be replaced. Bathroom needs an upgrade but the manager said they are planning to do that soon. Air conditioner needs to be cleaned and updated too.
