"Judith is an excellent host. She tried to make sure that we had a pleasant and a comfortable stay. The homestay was centrally located and hence it wasn't difficult for us to travel to Jew town, beach and temples nearby. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was awesome. Judith is a very good cook. Her tea was the best of all!"

"I loved the feel at home atmosphere, and the owner’s presence and their continued assistance. What I did not like at all was the kitchen area being too cluttered, dirty and dirty wet rags on the floor..Also the table was wiped with a dirty rag that did not clean the table. "

"I spent only two nights at Fort House and wished I could have stayed longer! It is located on the edge of Fort Kochi's central area, it is an oasis but still within walking distance--and there is no shortage of tuk-tuks. They are working on the road, but don't let that dissuade you--the inner courtyard garden is beautiful and the outdoor dining areas are lovely. "Arrived at 11pm, had booked online with Expedia, but family appeared surprised and put out by our arrival - although later showed they had printed off info about our booking & so would have known of our planned stay. Made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. Questioned over if had paid for AC, and told breakfast not included - so had to find paperwork to prove it had been included in price. Towels & sheets in room had stains on. Did sleep well in room though & breakfast was nice....

"I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "
