"A friend and I have just spent a long weekend at Le Batison. The property is situated in a nice village, is clean and well equipped and provides for a very comfortable stay. A short drive ( c 2 miles ) takes you into Brionne where you will find the usual shops including a Carrefour supermarket. We travelled to Normandy for a cycling break and found the neighboring countryside very enjoyable cycling territory."

"We really enjoyed our time @ this tiny home: it was cozy and very well decorated! You really feel like you're the only one in the world with all the space around you. The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! All in all: we enjoyed our time there a lot!"

"Ein tolles und sehr ungewöhnliches Haus. Darin ein paar Urlaubstage zu verbringen war für uns und die Kinder sehr aufregend. Das Haus ist so verwinkelt und nichts entspricht den üblichen 3-8-15 Normen. Der Garten ist riesig, voll eingezäunt und hat eine tolle Aussicht. Unsere Kinder und unser Hund haben ihn sehr genossen. "The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events.
