A Lovely Gîte in a Lovely Place

An extremely comfortable gîte - well equipped and in a very peaceful rural area. Delightful owners who were very helpful. The roads leading to it are very narrow and without sat-nav it would be quite difficult to find initially. Once established, however, it was a relatively easy trip from there to the town of Beuzeville.

Charming and quite house

We spent two days particularly restful far from the agitation of the world. It was perfect for us. The house is located in a charming surrounding and is very comfortable. Very happy to have discovered this place of peace.

Fort-Moville Normandy

The property is a traditional local building with a modern interior. It is located in the corner of a field with its own access and is approximately 200 meters form the Host’s house which makes it very private. It was large, very well maintained, clean and equipped to a high standard. The local area is rural and quiet as well as being an ideal base for exploring east Normandy. We could not fault the property, the host or the fresh eggs from the chickens.

Wij hebben twee geweldig fijne weken vakantie mogen vieren in het vakantiehuis van Sylviane en Jean Claude. Het vakantiehuis zelf is ruim, licht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De foto's komen dan ook goed overeen met de werkelijke situatie. Hartelijk aanbevolen.

Herrliche Ferienwoche in La Cantellerie

Wir durften eine herrliche Ferienwoche in einem toll ausgestatteten Ferienhaus verbringen. Der Empfang war herzlich und die Rückgabe verlief speditiv und problemlos. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber mit dem Auto problemlos erreichbar. Gerne kommen wir wieder, wenn wir in der Normandie Urlaub machen.

Toll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in schöner, ruhiger ländlicher Umgebung

Großes Wohnzimmer, ebenso Schlafzimmer und die Küche. Modernes Badezimmer und separaters WC. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Insgesamt liebevoll aus gestattet. Durch vier Türen, drei davon verglast bis zum Boden wundervoll hell. Umgeben von einem sehr großen Garten, ca. hundert Meter vom Haus der Eigentümer entfernt. Allerdings die Zugangsstrassen, auch zum nächst größeren Ort, Beuzeville, ca. fünf Kilometer entfernt, sind sehr schmal und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Supermarkt mit Bäckerei liegt direkt am Ortseingang. Es gibt einige gute bis sehr gute Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung. Auch die nahe Autobahn A 13 macht sich je nach Windrichtung bemerkbar, was allerdings nur sehr lärmempfindliche Zeitgenossen stören dürfte. Wir habe den Aufenthalt in diesem sehr schönen Haus in vollen Zügen genossen. Zum Schluss: Das ältere Eigentümerehepaar ist sehr sympathisch und aufgeschlossen freundlich.

Nature and calme

La maison etait superpropre et se trouve dans une grande proprietee entouree de nature et du calme. Elle est tres spacieuse et offre des nombreuses possibilitees pour ranger des affaires. Dans la cuisine ne manque rien et tout fonctionne bien. Nous avons passe des tres bonnes vacances reposantes. Un grand merci a Sylviane et Jean-Claude qui etaient la pour aider, conseiller, nous guidaient vers les bonnes adresses. DANKE!!!

Perfekt zum Ruhetanken

Supersaubere Wohnung mit einem geräumigen Wohn-,Esszimmer,einer kompletten Küche (tadellos funktionierende Geräte), überall praktischer Stauraum. Vom Esstisch hatten wir einen idyllischen Blick auf weiträumige, gepflegte Wiesen und das etwas entferntere Fachwerkhaus der Vermieter. Wir haben Natur und Ruhe rund ums Haus genossen! Auch die Gastgeber waren mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und Hifsbereitschaft einfach Spitze.

Sehr schönes, modern ausgestattetes Haus in ruhiger Gegebd

Das Haus ist super ausgestattet- alles sehr neu mit sehr großem Grundstück. Zwei kl. Punkte der Kritik: kein W-lan und nur französische Fernsehsender. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. Für einen Restaurantbesuch muss man mind. 5 km fahren.

Very enjoyable stay and wish it had been longer

Silviane was a charming host and even drove to meet us when we were trying to find the property. The house was perfect for our needs and extremely comfortable, perfect after a day's site seeing. Everything is brand new so perfect in every way. We met the neighbour Jean-Claude who was equally charming with a good sense of humour! The location could not be better if you wish to visit the main coastal towns and we also took a trip to the abbey at Jumieges (highly recommended) and the Intermarche is situated less than 10 minutes away.

Beautiful house, nice hosts

We stayed here in august 2021. The house was bigger than we expected from the photos. The host was very kind and helpful. The garden is big, and there are a lot of animals (bunnies and birds) which is very nice. Furthermore we found that the surroundings are very peaceful.
