Welcome to Seabird Cottage, your quiet oasis in the heart of Fort Myers Beach, FL. Located at 136 Primo Drive, the cottage is minutes from Estero Blvd, Times Square, Margaritaville and seven miles of white sandy beaches.

This brand new, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house sleeps 6.

Situated on a deep water canal with Gulf access, you will have wonderful water views, with direct fishing and boating right from the backyard. Dolphins, manatees and water birds frequent the canal for your wildlife viewing pleasure. A large elevated deck will have you sitting high, looking out over the water and feeling the cool breezes.

This newly built home will create an incredibly warm and inviting vacation for you. Natural light, combined with a combination of earthy colors, rich fabrics and textures, has fashioned this home into your own private retreat.

The living room has a wall of pocketing slider doors that open to the large screened rear deck. Water views abound while sitting in the living room. Catch up on the evening news or stream your favorite movie app on the large smart TV.

The complete new custom kitchen includes high end stainless-steel appliances, a deep sink and dishwasher. Everything has been provided to assist you in preparing a simple breakfast or a full dinner. Of course, with so many phenomenal restaurants just a one minute walk from the house, you may never use the kitchen at all!

The master bedroom is a grand retreat. A king-size bed waits for you to slumber the night away. A smart TV is there for you to catch a late night movie. There are two closets and an invigorating en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

There are two guest bedrooms. One has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. The queen room has a walk-in closet while the twin room has a reach-in closet. A full bathroom with a walk-in shower is located in the hallway.

The exterior screened-in deck will command your attention, set up with a table/chairs set, as well as a couple of lounging chairs for some morning coffee, along some bird watching experience. And just when you thought that was it, there's more! Sit down waterside and BBQ, where you will find patio furniture for six guests while listening to the sounds of Fort Myers Beach. High-speed wireless internet and a washer and dryer have been provided during your stay.

Heading to the beach? The beach wagon in the ground floor storage room contains beach towels, chairs, cooler and sun umbrella. Bringing or renting a boat while staying? No problem. There is a boat dock area to tie off.

Perfect spot!

We stayed 2 weeks, loved the place and have booked again for next year. The owner was friendly and responsive and has done a great job in providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. His notebook gave lots of good tips about things to do in the area. The outdoor grill and fishing off the dock added to the visit. Seabird Cottage was wonderful, neat, clean with many amenities. The location was within minutes of an awesome beach, sunsets and restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful time and we recommend this house to anyone!

Great Location!

This cute house is in a great location. Close to everything. Super clean. Would stay again. Only thing that was a little upsetting was the cleaning crew coming on in while my kids were still trying to get all their stuff out of the house and packed into their car before it was even check out time. Didn't say anything to them just went on it.

Fun Staycation

Home was as pictured and described. There were 4 of us, 2 adults with 2 kids, well young men (16 & 19). We walked to Times Square and the beach every day and night, very close (a block to the beach and 3-4 blocks to Times Square). Lots of choices for restaurants. Was nice and relaxing to sit out back. Wish we had Kayaks since the water/dock was right there. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Was a nice getaway before school starts back up.

Perfect Spot!

My husband and our 2 daughters (31 and 18) spent the week of 12/15-12/22 at the Seabird Cottage. The location was perfect - walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. My daughter ran every morning on the beach and my husband fished off the dock. We even saw dolphins off the pier! We were there to celebrate the holidays and also to house hunt for our retirement home. Michael introduced us to his neighbor Joe - a realtor who was very familiar with the area we were looking at. We found our new home! We also had a great week - even though the weather turned windy and rainy the last couple days - we still had a great time! The Seabird Cottage is very cozy and perfect for a family of 4!

House is in a great location for walking to all the restaurants, bars and shops. Nice view on the canal. The beds in guest room were smaller than anticipated (twin size), but it worked fine for the adults sleeping in that room as they are average height/weight. Would definitely stay here again.

The air conditioner was unable to keep up with the war weather. The hot water in the shower was non-existent when someone else was using water. The sink in the master bath still had toothpaste in/on it from the previous renter. There was dust all over the pictures, which is not good for those of us with allergies. Michael was great and very friendly, we appreciate him. He communicated perfectly and was very accurate.

Great if you want quiet

We normally stay on the North end of the island right on the beach (so we are comparing a Cadillac to Chevrolet). That beach property sold in July so getting another place was difficult. We decided to go for location. This location was great if you want to be close to everything and don't want to to be bothered (We are people watchers). We had close beach access but don't know what will happen when Margaritaville is complete because the beach we used will be on Margaritaville Property soon. Pictures are a little deceiving, living/kitchen area is a real crowded little area (Could use a little less furniture) bedrooms are good size, bigger than necessary unless you don't like the people you are staying with. Don't expect to see dolphins or manatees, this is located at the end of the canal and in the mornings has little to no water. And as with all properties you require a stay of 7 days but you only provide 1 extra roll of toilet paper. Remember to check dishwasher upon arrival because you are only required to load and run dishwasher upon departure and it will be full. With all the rambling we decided this was not the location we wanted (we don't like to leave the beach and gulf) but might be great for you. Dog House at end of street and Yo Taco less than a block away.

Perfect location

It’s been said In other reviews and I’ll say it again. This location is phenomenal! Right next to everything you need and more. We were able to walk nearly everywhere and the beach is right across the road and is next to many restaurants. I’d give this house ten stars just for that. The house itself is exactly as described. Is it in perfectly clean condition? No. But it’s a vacation rental, not the Hilton. The grout in the master bathroom could use some TLC and a fresh coat of paint or scrubbing of the walls. I do wish there were more toiletries-we only had four towels for four of us and there was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. I wasn’t expecting to have an unlimited supply but some extra on hand would’ve been appreciated. Either way we would 100% stay here again. Thank you Michael for being such a great host!

Excellent location for walking

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the location of the home. Two excellent restaurants just a couple homes away - The Whale and The Dog House! I will say the home needs a little TLC. Not unbearable but small things like replacing the shower curtain that has mildew all on the bottom of it, tightening the head board to one of the twin beds (any small movement at all while you're sleeping will wake you up from the banging sound it makes). If those are repaired/replaced, I would give this property a 5 star rating.
