Apartment Pelican in Fort Myers/Villa Barra

Welcome to our little paradise in Florida!

Come and enjoy some magic days at our Barra Villa Resort, which is well renowned for its sophisticated and playful atmosphere. The resort consists all in all of 8 lovely apartments and studios with a central, large pool area and backyards which offer the opportunity to relax and meet other guests if you like.

Lucky us that we found and bought this cute house!

House II consists of 3 units: the "Apartment Pelican", the "Apartment Flamingo" and the "Studio Turtle".

Each accommodation has its own entrance as well as a private bathroom, kitchen, and living-/sleeping-area. If requested, we are able to connect the Apartment Flamingo and the Studio Turtle to one big apartment which offers space for up to 5 adults.

The common outdoor area offers different seating possibilities.

If you let us know early, it’s also possible to rent the entire Villa Barra II or the entire Resort.

APARTMENT PELICAN

The perfect accommodation for families!

cozy 2-BR-apartment - bathroom accessible from two sides - equipped with a safe!

Due to the two bedrooms, both with a Queen-size bed, families with children will immediately feel at home at our Apartment Pelican. One of the bedrooms offers enough space for a baby cot and, furthermore, provides access to the bathroom.
You´ll find the second door with access to the bathroom in the well-equipped kitchen. From the kitchen, you can reach the wooden terrace as well as the garden area with a gas grill and many different seating possibilities.
The pool is situated between the 2 buildings behind the white wooden fence.
The windowed bathroom includes a shower, a WC, and a sink. We take care that there will be sufficient towels for your stay at our house.

In short: not only families will feel comfortable in our Apartment Pelican!

We had a wonderful stay at the Pelican Apartment at Villa Barra. The apartment was extremely clean and very well supplied with everything we needed. The pool was warm and inviting, and the location was perfect—we enjoyed a pleasant 10–15 minute walk to the River District each evening for dinner. Each morning we made coffee using the provided coffee maker and relaxed before starting the day. The central air kept the apartment very comfortable, and we especially appreciated the key lockbox system, which made it easy when we went our separate ways during the day. Marlene’s communication was excellent from start to finish. Overall it was a fantastic vacation and a great place to stay—we will definitely be back!

Great communication

The hosts of this lovely property provided clear information in a timely manner, and were available for any questions or problems. The location is excellent for walking to a great eating area downtown, and is close to the Edison/Ford estate as well. There's a nice pool for cooling off in the Florida sun!

Convenient and Clean

Apartment Pelican is conveniently located - a quick walk to Publix, the historic River District, and an easy drive to the beach. The property, although very basic in its amenities, was clean and comfortable. It lived up to its online description. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Working stay

We were working (cleaning up storm damaged property on sanibel), not on vacation, but place was great. Very close to downtown, restaurants, etc. Nice neighborhood and within walking distance to Publix. Was perfect for us and would definitely stay there again.

Nice place in a good location.

This property is located in a nice and quiet location. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend additional seating in the living room area. We had three adults and one couch was not enough to be comfortable.

Great Get Away Weekend

My sister and I just needed to get away and relax. Mission accomplished! The neighborhood is very quiet and the cottage is very cozy. We also enjoyed exploring the area. We visited Sanibel, Ft. Myers Beach and Marco Island. We loved seeing all the different beaches. I would definitely visit again.

Slow starter

Arrival was a downer as we had driven 12+hours and lacked the access code. Marcu s got us in but someone had accessed the unit and used it Saturday evening. Another call and the issue was resolved. We enjoyed the facilities,pool downtown closeness and all the great guests and quiet surroundings.

Fort Myers 2020

Lovely apartment in a quiet neighborhood, pool was awesome and clean. The location was convenient to downtown restaurants , and the Edison Ford Museum, and was all walkable for us. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Just like being at home only warmer with pool

This is a spacious unit with a screened front porch and back yard, free laundry and bikes for use. It has comfortable furniture and is close to downtown Ft. Myers.

Nice little Appartment

Nice little Appartments but disspointet over they way the use of grill is planed by the owner. You must bring your own gas, that’s not good. Roof on patio is not tight meaning everything left out there is getting wet when it rains

Very clean

The unit was nice and clean and was perfect for our stay. It is very close to downtown Fort Myers where there a some very nice restaurants. The units is also very close to McGregor Blvd near the Edison House and is a straight shot about a 20 minute ride to Fort Myers beach. It is also right off RT 41 which also has many nice places to eat. We were very happy with our stay.

Nice Location Near Downtown

Nice Location Near downtown Fort Myers and main roads. The place was ideal for a family with recreational facilities including a screened porch, back covered porch with grill and seating for at least 6, and a private pool. The beds and all other furniture were comfortable.
