"The property is located on a heavily wooded site and is close to an area that looks over the valley. The house is laid out well and is comfortable. We have stayed there a few times attending horse competitions in Rainsville and it’s convenient."

"Gorgeous property overlooking the mountains. We had several service issues, including long, long waits are the restaurants and incorrect orders (multiple times.) Our waitress at the Croft also told us she was so busy because the waitresses are also required to wash the dishes of their guests. When we checked out, there were hundreds of dollars in charges that were incorrect and thankfully were caught and resolved. They really try to nickel and dime you for everything at this resort. So, all-in, the property is spectacular and five-star. The service is 3-star right now but hopefully they can fix things as time goes on."
