"5 dollars a day parking was horse."

"This is one of the oldest hotels on the island and with that said. It is old. In our room the toilet paper holder and towel holder was broken. The light on the balcony was falling off. It felt clean otherwise. We got a suite for 6 people but only 2 people could eat breakfast for free. Otherwise it’s $25/person for a continental style breakfast. If you plan to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach there is that option or you have to sit behind 3 rows of them set up which blocks your view of the water. The pool area and outdoor space is nice. Only one of the smaller pools is heated. The outside doors are unlocked during the day and underneath the staircase there was a homeless man sleeping on a blanket with a toilet paper roll next to the area. Felt unsafe going up and down the stairwell. A nice stay for a short trip but wouldn’t stay here for a longer."

"The worst Hampton we’ve ever stayed at. Pretty disappointing for the price we paid. The beds were comfortable, pillow were cheap no support. When we checked in our bathroom sink was mostly clogged, had to call maintenance on 3rd day to clean it. Maids did not mop room floors, very dirty, just laziness. Breakfast was average, wasn’t always stocked, had to wait for coffee several times, These hotels really need to have 2 regular coffee dispensers available. Also our air conditioner was not working properly, it made an irritating sound when it turned on and while running, like the motor was on the verge of going out. The only positive thing about this hotel was the location. Won’t stay at this hotel again, not worth the money :("

"The bed was comfortable and room was clean. Housekeeping came to clean daily and bring clean towels. The room smelled good when we entered the room. While we were in our room in the evening we noticed when we went inside the bathroom we could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom. We put the exhaust fan on to get rid of the smell. We requested a non- smoking room when booking the reservation since we are not smokers. The breakfast was disappointing because there was not much to choose from. We enjoyed our first vista to Destin. It was a great location close to restaurants, beaches, harbor, and stores, etc. "
