"We are not gamblers. The only reason we stayed at the Shoshone Rose is because the Holiday Day Inn Express was more than $300 / night. Um, no. Not paying that for a Holiday Inn Express.
That said, the Shoshone Rose was clean and the rooms all non-smoking. And $170 / night. It was fine. We would stay again."
Quiet neighborhood, relaxing wrap around deck with fire pit. Short walk to town.
8/10 Good
"I was impressed by how nice this old house was. However, was pretty disappointed that the listed "air-conditioning" was a small rolling unit that did very little to cut through the heat and humidity."
"We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was very inviting and welcoming when we arrived. We had 8 people in our party, and we never felt cramped. The open kitchen was great, it let me be apart of what was going on while I made the meals. We were minutes from all of the amenities of town. The neighborhood was quiet. There was plenty of activities out side the house (basketball, corn hole, a fire pit and a hamic and a great hot tub).As well as games inside the house. I would highly recommend this property."
"The place was so very clean and ready for us. We enjoyed loving on the horses, Sugar, Gambler, & Snazzy in the pens out back. That’s not for everyone, but was heaven for us. Our Host was amazing and responsive and friendly. 10 out of 10 stay! We’ll be back again when a Lander trip is on our itinerary!"
"Great 2 bedroom cottage. Host were very accessible. For us the distance to town (8 miles), was a bit far. The big downfall was the spotty Internet service. If the TV was on, and you were on your phone or computer it wasn't working. All amenities are in the house such as laundry detergent, soaps and shampoo. Kitchen is well equipped and has salt, pepper and spices. Nice grill."
