This is a great location as your base for your adventures on Ben Nevis......as it says in the name 😀. The staff are friendly and helpful and check-in/out went smoothly. There is an amazing cafe opposite that serves snacks, full meals and drinks. Also on site is the bike hire and the staff here have excellent knowledge of the area and all things bike related. To top it off the hotel is situated right on the Nevis gondola station. Fully recommend staying here.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Base Camp Nevis and would definitely recommend it. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re exploring Fort William and the surrounding Highlands. It’s perfectly placed for visiting Ben Nevis and nearby attractions, while still feeling peaceful and relaxed. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a short stay, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and easygoing. One of the highlights was how convenient it was for starting our daily trips — whether heading to Glenfinnan, Skye, or just enjoying the local scenery. It made our travel plans very smooth. Overall, a great base for exploring the Highlands. Good value, great location, and a pleasant stay 👍
