"The staff were so helpful from booking to departure. The room was well equipped with everything that you might need including a good coffee machine and kettle, dressing gowns and slippers, hairdryer and straightening tongs, the mini bar included soft drinks. I really enjoyed the stay here "
"The staff were friendly and very helpful. The house and garden were quirky and arty and in easy reach of everything. The meal with wine tasting was interesting and enjoyable, it was good to be able to sit outside to eat. The property was also easy to find and we could park nearby."

"The accommodation was fine. However, we were at the very end of the hotel so accessing the bar and restaurants was a lengthy walk. Breakfast was very good with a great variety of options.
Unfortunately, althought our starter at dinner was lovely, I chose cod which was dry, overcooked and full of bones. My husband, although he ordered a hamburger, got a very grizzly steak which was inedible. When we told the waiter, he didn't really care. Just shrugged and said fish have bones.

The hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable and practical.
Breakfast was also a delight - very tasty homemade food, clearly all made from scratch.
This is a family run hotel and they are extremely friendly, welcoming, very helpful and accommodating.

"Great customer service and check in. Nice poolside restaurant. The grounds are very nice but needs more landscaping. A few areas of improvement: The doors inside the apartment did not close at all including the bathroom door, some other things needed repair inside, the sheets did not fit the bed properly, the blankets in the suite didn’t seem freshly washed. The pullout couch was ultra uncomfortable you could feel the springs through the mattress. "

"The owners were very generous with their time ahead of the booking, answering our questions and being flexible around our dates and needs.The check in and out process were very easy, property manager is lovely, as is her husband who popped in one arranged morning to clean the pool. They were very generous with their local information.Daughter (4) kept getting lost the property was so big, a toilet for everyone! The layout worked really well for a family stay and the outdoor seating including shaded areas was perfect. Highlight though was the heated pool and all the pool toys. The infant flotation device was an unexpected highlight - kids only got out the water to eat and sleep. The place had everything we needed for the kids, bed guards, high chair, pool toys.Sadly the most immediate restaurant had shut down and the Spa supermarket was useless but everything is within a sensible drove"

"The bathroom was a bit too small and it could certainly benefit from having an air extractor. The were dead bugs in the window blind which would have been better not to have. Other then that, the staff was nice and helpful at all times."

"Fantastic modern villa, beautifuly laid out and equipped with everything you could need.
Lovely sunny terrace with great views out to the Mediterranean.
Located in a quiet little community with nice pool area which wasn't busy, we had it to ourselves mostly.
Great location for exploring the area but definitly need a car as villa is up a steep hill from the town itself. We were happy with the walk each mornjng to O Petit Gabi to get our bread & croissnts and stop for a coffee.....but some may find the uphill challenging. Fitou is quite a sleepy town, some of the restaurants were not open as advertised so best to check and book in advance.
We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend Fitou Villa as a great base to explore a really lovely eegion of France.
Anne, the villa's host was so helpful with information before our stay and communication via vrbo was really easy, as was the check in process and directions to get there!
