We love Rusty's Loft

Great place to stay, excellent hosts and seeing the animals on the farm was so fun! Also loved that it was pet freindly and we were able to bring our dogs! We will definitely book again for another stay!

We had such a nice time at Rusty's Loft. Having a pond to fish and kayak in right at your disposal was amazing! We were fortunate to have stayed when there was a full moon too. The loft is tastefully decorated with rustic industrial chic, comfortable and cozy decor. Jay and Heather made us feel so welcomed and could not have been better hosts! We are definitely going again to this beautiful, peaceful oasis! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed here with our dog for a weekend. We were visiting our daughter and son in law who live close by. It was very clean and homey. Perfect for what we were looking for. We would stay again. The sunrise right out our window was beautiful this morning.

One Day Getaway!

this is a beautiful property!! the animals, trails, and plants make this a unique stay. the hosts are very accommodating, welcoming, and informative. perfect for the dog, too! wish we could have stayed longer— we will definitely book again

Better Than Expected

Everything from start to finish was amazing. The previous reviews are all accurate. We had to check in late due to prior obligations but they were very accommodating. We needed a late check out and they made it happen. Nothing but great things to say. Looking into coming back for a weekend with the kids to swim and explore. 10/10 recommended.

Beautiful property!

We had a short but sweet stay. We really appreciated being allowed to stay just one night as many places need at least a two or three night minimum. We felt welcomed and very comfortable. I wish we’d had more time to enjoy the gorgeous scenery! We definitely recommend!

Another great stay with Rusty

This is the second “Rusty’s” property hosted by Jay and Heather that I’ve stayed at. Both were great. The loft is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The location is bucolic and serene. Jay and Heather are helpful, responsive, hospitable and truly want their guests to have an excellent experience — which I did.

Away from it all.

Jay and Heather were very friendly! Took the whole family for a golf cart tour of the property as well as animals. Exceptionally clean and anything we needed was taken care of immediately. Being out in the middle of nowhere does the mind good. A beautiful pond, manicured and I can attest that it has at least 1-5 lb largemouth bassin it cause I caught it. All in all 5 stars across the board!!!! Excellent!

Amazing property and hosts

My husband and I loved our time at Rustys loft. The loft was spotless and beautiful. The owners were very gracious and personable. Communication was impeccable. I enjoyed seeing the animals at the barn and hanging out my the pond. Great for birdwatching and just relaxing.

Wonderful place!!

We loved the property! There was plenty of space for our family and 2 Corgis. We enjoyed the paddle boat on the pond. We bought their fresh eggs and honey to bring home with us. The hosts were great!! We'll definitely be back!! Thank you.

Beautiful

We had a lovely stay. Slept 5 perfectly. Perfect place to see the most beautiful sunrise. Was here for the meteor shower unexpectedly. It was a nice surprise. Perfect place to see them all. Kids had fun in the paddle boat and with the animals. The owner were super nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely lovely lovely

This was one of the best VRBO experiences I've ever had. Heather and Jay are wonderful and made the stay perfect. The apartment was charming, spotless, and well stocked for cooking. Everything about it was perfect. The bed was the best ever! We bought fresh eggs from them and they were delicious. The area is a wonderful spot to get away and enjoy the quiet, farm life, and the cow, horses, and dogs. Just the best! Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Lovely Stay

This place was so peaceful and beautiful! Jay was very kind and gave us a tour in the golf cart. The animals were adorable. The loft was just lovely and I wished we were able to stay longer. Had a beautiful wrap around "balcony" with plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view. There was also a fire pit with chairs and a swing out back. The pond was very pretty as well. There is a brewery/winery in Fostoria (I think it is the Honey Bee or something like that) that is small but has some very tasty food! The Cuban Sandwich and the pretzel with beer cheese was very YUMMY :) Don't hesitate to book here if you want some peace and quiet away from the city life and traffic. Thanks, Amy

The best VRBO experience ever

We stayed at Rusty's retreat for the solar eclipse. Our Hosts, Jay and Heather were absolutely amazing. They are like folks you meet once in a lifetime, but never forget. Their property is so beautiful. It was great for our teens - they could swim in the lake, fish, catch frogs, play cornhole... they were very entertained. We went with another family and Jay and Heather were very accommodating so that we could all be in the same area. We enjoyed meeting people around the property and the animals that live there. The property is very clean, the lodgings way exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Rusty's retreat to anyone and would love to go back again. The property was very busy with folks coming in to see the eclipse and our hosts made everyone feel at home. They set up games, music, campfires, and made it fun for everyone. What a perfect place and perfect environment to share this special event. It was amazing!

Extremely clean loft, very quiet area and perfect for star gazing. Kitchen was probably the best stocked I've ever stayed in and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and decor was lovely. Our host gave us a nice tour of the property, and seeing Rusty and the trails were nice and relaxing. Planning to come back in the winter and enjoy the fireplace!

We had another excellent stay at Rusty's Loft as we needed a place to recharge and enjoy what feels like our own private pond for beautiful and peaceful viewing as well as kayaking! The 2nd story loft with wrap around porch makes for tranquility to sit and watch the moonlight over the pond, or just reading. The loft provides all the accommodations one could ask for, and Jay and Heather made our stay feel warm and welcoming. We enjoy this tastefully decorated loft, the peaceful vibe, walking trails and the animals so much! Highly recommend this place for a place to relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings!
