Some of the neighborhood further down the road was "sketchy" as my kids would say but we did not feel unsafe at any time. Backyard was nicely done with lots of outdoor seating, a fire pit and grill. Outside we could hear traffic and a few trains but not inside the house."

"I was pretty surprised to find a Motel so close to a truck stop that was quiet, clean, convenient, and affordable. The check in was really quick, which was wonderful after 10 hours of driving. The room was very comfortable and the AC worked quietly and efficiently. The true test of a clean room is to put your foot on the floor and see how dirty or sticky the floor is. The floor in my room was CLEAN! That helped us rest comfortably. Don’t be afraid to give Motel 6 another shot, I have stayed in several over the past year and they have certainly taken a step in the right direction after many years of decline! "
