Only a 10 minute walk brings you down to the sandy beach at Readymoney Cove or a 20 minute walk into the town centre. The advantage of being at the top of the town, apart from the stunning views, is the easy access in and out of Fowey without having to negotiate the narrow one-way streets of the town centre. Also, if you have walked down into the town and don’t have the energy to walk back up there is always Fowey Town Bus which runs throughout the day.
