"A lovely, oldy-worldy hotel/pub. We loved all the old features like the wooden doors and beams. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy, but the pillows were quite hard and lumpy. Again, the bathroom was spacious, but with only a bath and handheld shower it was a bit awkward. The shower could do with nailing up on the wall and a shower curtain adding. This didn’t detract from our stay, but it would make it a lot more functional. Breakfast in the morning was nice. The poached eggs were delicious! But it’s a bit odd that the chef shuts the kitchen 15 minutes before breakfast technically ends."
