I was on the first cruise ship to ever dock by Foynes, Ireland. The entire town came down to the shoreline to wave to us as we came by. It felt like a movie moment, very special. I took this photo in the boatyard just after we got off the ship. I liked the way that zooming in on the machinery with its rust stains, chipping paint, and various shapes made it look abstract. We had a great day exploring Foynes, and I still remember the people there as some of the nicest I've ever met traveling. #golden
