"Pros: Experiencing the quiet area, of course the vineyards, but also the pub in the village made the total experience. We spend 5 days to explore the culture and nature beauties. Regional food is great, the landscape is supurb and the wine tastings are lovely. Coming home every day and enjpying the hot tub made the days perfect. Maria (the host) is lovely and very helpful. Cons: There is nothing I can mention not worth the stay"

"This is hands down one of the prettiest and coolest properties you can stay in, in rural Portugal. The property, room and pool and service was amazing, but the town itself situated in is also just one of the coolest experiences. So many handmade items included in your stay and available to purchase. The host is amazing, super friendly and laid back. The grounds were beautiful, unique and has so much character. Crisol Régua Douro

Crisol Régua Douro

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is in a prime position on the river Bank and has an older style. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our twin room had a fabulous river view and was a good size with comfy beds and quality amenities. Breakfast was varied and tasty and served in the panoramic restaurant on the 3rd floor. It was served from 7am to 11am so it was great as we could take our time and enjoy the views. Highly recommended."
