"Very (unexpectedly) nice property which appears to be brand new. Modern, very clean room with great air conditioning. Elevator was a great touch. Our 10-year-old was with us and the staff even put out a child-sized robe which was an amazingly thoughtful touch. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, even struggling with English to accommodate us. Safe (free!), on-site parking. Breakfast was delicious with a varied menu. Would definitely stay here again!"

One of the most impressive aspects was the daily housekeeping. Breakfast was a highlight—served upon request and beautifully presented, it felt more like being a guest in someone’s refined home than staying in a hotel and with Castello Monforte just steps from your door, you’re quite literally surrounded by history. Campobasso itself is a hidden gem. The local shopping and dining were charming, with an authenticity that’s hard to find in more tourist-heavy spots. The people of Campobasso are kind, welcoming, and clearly excited to share their city with visitors. "
