It was excellent! The communication was outstanding. The home is beautiful along with the area all around it. So inviting and relaxing. It was truly hard to leave. We enjoyed an afternoon at a wine tasting with the owner which was quite a delight and the breakfast each morning was more than we could have imagined. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Frankenmuth.

Perfect location

Spent 3 days with my niece for a girls shopping weekend. This was such a perfect location and the hosts were wonderful and accommodating. We will definitely stay again!

After Christmas Stay

My girls and I loved staying here. The owners were so nice and accommodating and we loved that we could get in the hot tub at the end of the night and have privacy if we wanted it. The game room downstairs was a big hit with my girls. We would definitely come back & recommend them if you want a place close to town but quiet.

Frankenmuth ‘24

The property was very nicely landscaped and inviting. The house had real cottage appeal that ties in perfectly with Frankenmuth’s style. Krista and Mike made us feel right at home and were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. We’d definitely stay at the Dawdy House again.

Great mini-getaway

Host/hostess were very nice, communicated appropriately before, during, and after our visit. This was a girlfriends weekend and we spent much of our time shopping and wine tasting and then had a nice soak in the hot tub. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Great way to start the day!

Lovely stay

My boyfriend and I were very impressed with our stay. The home was very clean and quaint and Krista and Mike were very accommodating. Both breakfasts were delicious and substantial and were ready at the time of our request. We were given suggestions of places to visit and eat and enjoyed the winery within walking distance. The hot tub is amazing and we had it to ourselves! We would definitely recommend for a short couples retreat and hope to return in the future!

My 72 year old mother and I stayed for 4 nights. Mike was so helpful and hospitable! He was also a great cook :). The house was comfortable, the hot tub was nice, and the room/beds was pleasant. The location of the house was within a few blocks of downtown Frankenmuth. I would absolutely stay here again if I was in the area. We had a great time!

They made everything simple. Easy to find. Close to everything on our list to do. Hostess, Lilac was a joy and fixed us a very nice breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Only complaint was that we didn't take time to enjoy the hot tub. Of course that isn't their fault :)

Perfect Getaway

My friend and I decided to take a little trip to relax and not be “needed” by someone for a few days; total moms weekend. It was AMAZING! The room was clean and the bed was so comfy! We were within walking distance of St. Julian’s Winery, The Frankenmuth Brewery, and everything in between. The host was the sweetest lady that knew a lot about the town, making it very helpful in planning our days. We woke up to a wonderful breakfast every morning to start the day off. The Hot Tub, was probably my favorite part. It was so clean and relaxing. Krista would come out and open the tub for us and put our towels in the warmer so they nice and hot for us when we got out. We could not have asked for a more relaxing and seamless vacation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will be back, 100%!
