"The staff was extremely friendly. The town has a small town feel. Everyone is very polite and welcoming. The room was clean but the shower water did not get warm enough. I would highly suggest this place to anyone just see what the can do to get the shower hotter. Its hard to warm the cold bones up lol. The bed was extremely comfortable too!! 😌"
"This hotel is located within easy walking distance of many bars and restaurants in the downtown area. It doesn’t have A/C which wasn’t an issue for us in September. Most rooms have shared toilets and showers, but we booked a queen suite which included its own bathroom. The lobby is located on the 2nd floor so with no elevator, you have to bring your luggage up three small flights of stairs (about 25 steps). There is a shared kitchen available with a microwave, stovetop, refrigerator, Kuerig coffee maker, ice machine, and some basic kitchen supplies. Our room had two large windows that we could open for ventilation. With a tap room across the street, there was lively conversation and laughter through part of the evening so my wife used the provided earplugs. The window shades blocked out most of the light except for a gap between the edge of the shades and the window sides. My wife thought an eye mask might have helped."
"All good, with exceptional low price vs. rates further down the coast.
Very walkable to everything in town, and the unique Marsh's store\museum right next door 👍"
"The property is situated on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. It’s stunning! The room was large with high ceilings and an industrial design, which I loved. The hotel is very convenient to downtown Astoria and easily walkable. The sea lions are a bit noisy but the hotel offers ear plugs and a white noise machine that drowned out their noise. The staff is friendly and helpful. I didn’t care for the trans flag. I’d rather see an American flag. I don’t need to be reminded of what anybody prefers in the privacy of their bedroom."
