This hotel is a bit dated but it is conveniently situated with 5 minutes on foot from Frankfurt Central Station and a tram stop right in front of the hotel. So overall it’s a great value and its location is everything.

Good hotel close to station and city centre.

A good clean nice hotel for one night, close to the station. Area around station is not so nice even if it´s convenient if you shall travel to the airport or somewhere else. Walking distance to city centre as well.

Overnight stay at the Mercure Frankfurt City Messe

It was an overnight stay whilst travelling from the north to the south of the country. Therefore none of the hotels facilities were used. The room was quiet so a good nights rest. Very close to the railway station.

Overall, the hotel is good for the price but being near to the train station has its advantage and bane. Not the safest place at night as there are strange individuals on both side of the roads along where the hotel is. We see police arrest almost every night near the hotel. Day time wise, the location is great!

Front desk personal were not so friendly and warm. Same with the lady in the breakfast area. When we checked in the front desk said parking is free if you're a member, then when we checked out they charged us for parking. Parking is really tight and limited in the basement. Location is conveniently in front of the train station. Its clean for the most part but the carpet smells and is quite old. Breakfast was good actually! Decent place, staff could be friendlier but don't expect much.

Disappointing

Good hotel but we faced a lot of surprising things that should not happen in this kind of hotel. > We entered a room in which the temperature was at least 25 degrees, heatter at max with closed windows and fans at max on the hot temperature > No shampoo or shower gel, just a soap and a hand washing product in the shower... Quite disappointing. Good opinion on the staff though.

Sadly not in a great area and not the best hotel.

Hotel is very close to the train station, which, unfortunately has a number of homeless groups and what appears to be prostitution. There are groups of young men around all day and night. The room itself was adequate, far too hot (even for winter) and the only way to cool down is to have the window wide open - which means the noise is unbearable (sirens, loud shouting and laughter etc) - even with the windows shut it’s still quite noisy. There is a kettle in the room but the tea and coffee on offer is not nice. Thankfully there is a McDonald’s and Starbucks at the train station. We were only staying for the weekend so we managed, but we would not stay here (or this area) again. It’s not a 4 star hotel at all. But the price was low so should have been warned.

Super Lage zwischen Hauptbahnhof und Messe. Zimmer war sauber und gut in der Größe. Allerdings schon älter und daher abgenutzt. Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl auf kleinem Raum. War aber ausreichend um satt zu werden.

4-5 stars overall. Clean rooms, very good breakfast, and friendly front desk and breakfast staff. The location is very central and conveniently located to the main station and river. However as other reviewers have commented, there are a lot of drug users hanging around the station and streets. Nevertheless the area did not feel unsafe during daylight hours.

Die Straße neben der Unterkunft ist leider als Frau absolut nicht zu durchlaufen. Man wird ungefähr 10 Mal angemacht und die Leute liegen bei nur halbem Bewusstsein auf den Bürgersteigen. Wäre nett gewesen, wenn man in der Unterkunft darauf hingewiesen wird. Man kommt aber relativ gut weg und in Richtung Messe oder Stadt. Tram ist direkt vor dem Eingang. Zimmer sind sauber und es ist leise.

personeel was erg aardig en behulpzaam, het hotel is alleen in een niet zn beste wijk, je bent hier wel zo weer uitgelopen. verder ligt het op een erg gunstige locatie, je bent overal zo van af het hotel. als je voor de stad komt en niet voor de locatie van je hotel is het een erg goed hotel met een goede prijs.

これがメルキュールか、と思わせるホテルでした。 フロントでは対応の良い人もいましたが態度の悪い人もいる。設備は古く、料金の割には全く合わないホテルです。これなら、少し出せばこの時期でもこれ以上のホテルはあったでしょう。
