"My experience at this hotel was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. The floors, made of black polished concrete, were a constant source of frustration as stepping out of the shower inevitably resulted in blackened feet. I must commend...

"What a little gem of a hotel. Whoever designed the rooms had clearly stayed in many hotels. Everything you could want was provided. Too hot A/C and a huge fan above the bed Too cold a wood burner in the corner Too wet an umbrella in the cupboard Kettle, coffee machine, biscuits teas coffees etc. Large comfortable bed with good big pillows. One of the best hotel bathrooms I've ever had. Large walk in shower. Free standing bath, big basin. Lovely towels and wonderful cosy bathrobes. Not towelling. Janita the breakfast staff were so polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect. Fresh fruit, yoghurt fresh juices croissants ,muffins ,breads. cheeses. cereals . Good choice in cooked breakfast. Wish I could have stayed longer to sample them all. Janita and Peter welcomed us in. What a credit the staff are to this hotel. There are many nice wee touches. A bottle of fizz, chocolates. Lots of glasses and a bottle opener should you buy a bottle from the vineyards We booked for 3 nights but stayed for 4 Good restaurants within minutes walk."
