Our hotel was wonderful, impeccably maintained, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering great tips and recommendations. The breakfast was excellent, served in a cozy room filled with art pieces, homemade cakes, and a brilliant selection of food. We hope to return and explore more of this beautiful area."

"What a lovely experience to be in a restored 11th century castle. The restaurant has a limited menu but you will not be disappointed. Everything is homemade including pastas and local cheese production. Italian meats are made during the slow season by the workers at the hotel. The view of the valley from the back door of the dining room is spectacular. This is a hidden jewel in Calabria. "

Used the half board option. Meals were all home cooked using fresh farm harvests, hand made pastas, etc and you will not go hungry! Wish I had booked this place for longer! Three days was not enough! "The main building is fantastic but accessibility is not a strong point - putting it mildly! I followed Google maps and reached a gate . Bell was not working but I managed to get through by phone. Gate would not open remotely so someone came 5-8 minutes later to open. Apparently this was not the main gate.... I have disability issues and was travelling with a daughter in a wheelchair. The property is not really suitable, but the staff did their best and gave me access to a golf cart so I could...
