Great unique place to stay

The rental management company was very helpful with questions about the property and about things to do in town. The property itself was very clean and surprisingly spacious. It’s a wonderful unique place to rent filled with history. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Romantic cozy stay

The Pullman is an interesting step back in history. The preservation of the railcar character adds to ambience. The Pullman is a nice place for a romantic getaway. Only drawback was the people trying to use it as a background for photos. The steps are a little step to the entrance but not horrible

It is a few blocks to Main Street which we were able to walk in about 15 minutes. There is an HEB in walking distance and a lunch and dinner restaurant very close that we enjoyed Thank you for the wonderful experience. We had everything we needed and the communication was excellent.

Unique and Lovely Experience

This was one of the most unique stays! You have to stay here on your stay in Fredericksburg! The train car was decorated in authentic (or what appeared to be) furnishings, especially highlighting President Theodore Roosevelt. It was bigger than expected. The days and nights were very quiet and peaceful. It will help if you bring a small flashlight to use if walking back at night because it can be dark as you approach the train car. The hall/walkway down the train car is narrow, so it would not be comfortable for overly large individuals.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is good and very walkable to some great restaurants, main street and groceries. The train car was way too cluttered, difficult to find a spot to set down a bag, the main bathroom had a rotten out door because the shower leaks so much, quite dusty and felt dirty. The AC unit did not cool down the bedroom or kitchen of the unit - and we were there on a 92 degree day, not the heat of TX summer. The idea is great, but execution mediocre at best.
