Beautiful Hill Country Sheep Farm
Perfect relaxing accommodation! Lone Wolf Ranch is a serene and quiet environment, which is exactly what we were wanting. The house was clean and adorable. It was so nice to have all the breakfast foods available for us to cook at our leisure and get off to a slow and relaxing morning. We have already recommended this VRBO to our DFW friends!

Beautiful Home
I was there for the solar eclipse. I could see it through the clouds but I also did some astrophotography. The skies are beautiful. Tuco and Hunter, the dogs are so friendly. The location is the perfect distance from town.I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Amazing place
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having it on the sheep farm was icing on the cake. In fact one of the babies was only 2 days old. It’s a great location if your wanting to explore the wine country and Fredericksburg. It’s a gorgeous place and super clean. Breakfast items were even stocked in the fridge which we greatly appreciated. We would absolutely come back. 5 stars!

Awesome Experience
Loved this rental! The owners were charming and attentive. The cabin was extremely clean and meet the needs of our girls trip to Fredericksburg quite nicely. We felt very welcomed and cared for. Breakfast items left for us to prepare at our leisure was an added bonus along with the great cookies left for our arrival. Loved how convenient it was to town but distanced enough for that countryside solitude. Would love to revisit in the future. Highly recommend!

Big Sky
We enjoyed the lovely wide open views of sky durning the day and the endless stars at night. The temperature was about 10 degrees cooler at the guest house than in town. We were very comfortable. It’s a peaceful, quiet environment; but only 10 minutes from town. My sister made fast friends with Tucco, the friendly farm guard dog. This was my 2nd stay here, and I am sure not my last. The hosts are good people.

this property is special! the location is just the right distnace from town so it is peaceful, the property is as specified, a beautiful sheep farm on 40 acres. beautiful sunsets every night with many photo ops as well. this location wouldn't be compplete without tuco the owners dog who guards the sheep day and night as welll as greeting you every day when you come back. the weather in september was absolutely awesome, low 90's during the day and low 60's at night with a great breeze every day and night. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for the great time

This little house guest is a perfect get away place! The house was very nice, clean, and it was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The homeowners were so nice! The beds were very comfortable, and even though it is outside of town, it is not too far of a drive from everything in Fredericksburg. I will definitely book again in the future. PS...Both of their dogs were so friendly!

Peaceful & Comfy
My husband and our pup Jack enjoyed our stay. The guest house was clean, large shower, comfy bed, had all we needed to prepare breakfast and only short drive into town. We met owners, they are super nice people. They breed three types of sheep; I got to feed a lamb! Jack was curious about the sheep, but kept his distance. If you looking for a quite, comfy, private retreat not to far from wineries or town, this is the place for you.

Hospitality that’s out of this world
When we arrived, we were greeted by Tuco, the “guard dog” of the property. He is one big baby! Make sure you bring him some “snacks.” The refrigerator had some things for breakfast and some orange juice. VERY VERY clean home. We also had a plate of cookies waiting for us! We will definitely be back! Only about 10 minutes from town!

Best Friends getaway
We did have trouble originally finding the place because google maps was not correct and we could not get an answer with the realtor number on file with Vrbo. However we knew it was a sheep farm and we googled sheep farm in Fredericksburg and the owner picked up the phone call immediately. The owners were welcoming, stocked the fridge and allowed us to bottle feed their baby sheep. It was a peaceful amazing rejuvenating trip. We would love to come back.

Cozy getaway
We stayed at the property for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The hosts stocked the refrigerator with a great spread of breakfast foods (orange juice, two dozen eggs, bacon, sausages, hashbrowns). The kitchen was well stocked enough for us to cook dinner on multiple nights and the outdoor grill was great! The two bedrooms share a bathroom with a double vanity. The living room area had plenty of DVDs although the DVD player did not work. Each room has access to Dish TV for cable and WiFi though. They also had a couple games, and we loved playing catchphrase! The location was a straight shot from the town center. It was very quite and had great visibility of the stars! A great treat for city folk. We also brought a dog along with us and she enjoyed the open space, view of the sheep and company of Tuco. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone visiting Fredericksburg.
