Our stay at Abby's place was good overall. Communication was excellent, and host responded quickly to our questions. Location is great-- close to everything and easy to get to. The unit is clean and well-lit. It was dry and had no musty odour (as some basements can have.) Beds were quite comfortable. We didn't do any cooking as we were visiting family every day, so I can't attest to the kitchen amenities. 3 things to note. 1. There is quite a steep staircase down to the unit which could be problematic for some people. Just be aware. 2. The unit is bare bones furniture-wise. Bedside tables are on only one side of each bed. So no place to put a book, glasses, charging phone for person on the other side. No extra hooks to hang damp towels. And, in the living room, no place for everyone to sit comfortably (to watch TV or chat) as there is only one smallish couch. There were 4 of us, we crowded 3 on the couch and 1 on a dining room chair, which is not ideal. No coffee table. 3. Shower stall is quite tight and the knob is finicky. We did figure it out, but perhaps more detailed notes would be useful. Overall, a good basic unit and place to hang your hat while visiting Freddy.
