"The staff and conditions of the hotel were great. The location of the hotel to otger things near by is also good. The only drawbacks were you cant really swim infront of the hotel, its extremely shallow even at high tide and the AC in the room wasn't the best. other than that no problems. "

"Close to the jetty, dining tables and chairs all wood, bath towels too old and discolored, served us with rotten bananas, saves us with fresh paw paw broath while they saved others with proper and pure fresh juice yet we came in first. Bedsheets were old and discoloured"

"Cocotier Du Rocher is a great spot to stay on La Digue. 6-8 minute bike ride to the main village, and 15-20 minutes by bike to Grand Anse and Anse Source d'Argent. My room was very spacious with AC, ceiling fan and well-stocked kitchen. The grounds are really nice as well... definitely get the island vibe. Stephan was super cool and helpful. He hooked me up with bike rental, shuttle to/from the ferry, and even some laundry. Note: Try to book ferry in advance as it can fill up at peak times. "

"Host was very helpful in helping us find things to do in La Digue. House was very spacious and excellent value for the price. Bikes were available on site for a reasonable daily price. Location is right in between the city and the beach. Food is only a 3 minute bike ride away. Internet speed could be better, but there is plenty to keep you busy offline on the island. "Nous avons été déçu par la vétusté de la chambre et l'odeur de moisissure. On trouve ce niveau de confort dans d'autres pays, pour beaucoup moins cher. Inadapté pur des bébés (pas de lit de bébé et pas de tuyau de douche). La climatisation n'était pas nettoyée et nous n'avons pas pu l’utiliser malgré le passage du technicien qui n'a fait qu'asperger avec un produit extrêmement fort. La responsable a fait ce qu'elle pouvait et nous a offert un repas dans le restaurant Le Chateau St Cloud (à 200m)...

"Es hat uns alles gefallen. Der Empfang war herzlich. Agnes stand jederzeit mit Empfehlungen und Telefonaten zur Seite. Der Bungalow Diamond House war top! Sehr gute Ausstattung, haben aber nie gekocht. Es gibt 2 sehr gute Take Aways in der Nähe (Gala ca 5 min zu Fuß). Lage fanden wir sehr gut…nicht mittendrin. Auf La Digue ist aber alles fast nebenan. In 5-10 min Laufweite gibt es einen Supermarkt (Kartenzahlung möglich). Wir haben einmal Abendessen gebucht… einfach top! Anreise: etwas schwer...

"Das Problem an der Unterkunft sind die ganzen Tiere. Da nur Lamellentüren verbaut und im Bad keine Fliegengitter sind, kommen viele Insekten in das Apartment. Bei der Ankunft musste ich eine große tote Kakerlake aus der dusche bergen und etliche Ameisenhaufen entfernen. Das schöne am Apartment ist der riesige Balkon mit Blick auf die Landschaft und den Ozean."

"The house is on a hill overlooking the town. It means that you have to walk up the hill, but once you get there the wiew is great. Especially the sunsets. The rooms are big, nice and clean. The service was great. The lady that takes care of the house also took good care of us. If I come back some day, I will stay there again."

"Excellent welcome and great room! The food at this place is awesome. At 30 euros per person it’s a deal given the quality, quantity and kind service. Would recommend to anyone that plans on renting a car to explore the island (free parking and easy to access both sides of Praslin)"
