"Nice location close to everything and the balcony was a nice feature. Everything was modern and clean. Breakfast was good but the lounge didn't really offer any food to go with a drink after a long day, which would have been nice. The Mediterranean restaurant next door had great food though. ;) Rooms were a bit small but overall it was really good."
"This is a lovely hotel in the Littenweiler area just east of Freiburg. There is a handy bus right outside the door, that takes you to the tram, which is then an easy ride into the city.
The staff was very helpful, the rooms were nice, and the breakfast was fantastic, with hot dishes as well as cold!"
"The hotel is in excellent position for football stadium and old town. It is only a tram ride away.
The staff are excellent and very friendly and can’t do enough for you.
The rooms are an excellent size although bathroom is a bit tight but like the rest of the hotel very modern
I would recommend it to all who wishes to visit Freiburg"
"Going through a revamp while we stayed so no bar or restaurant. Everything else was brilliant. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Got to go back ...."
"The room was clean and small. It had a kitchenette with a coffee maker and electric water heater, stove top, fridge and microwave. Altstadt and train station were about 20-25 walking min.. Bus/tram stop right outside the hotel. Kaufland, large grocery store was only about 3 min from hotel."
"Hotel was very clean. What stood out the most was the friendly staff and how ready they were to help us in any way we needed - navigating the area, looking into transportation options, restaurants etc. The food at their restaurant was also spot on. I would highly recommend this hotel."
"This is a well priced hotel (particularly compared to city centre hotels) conveniently placed on the edge of the city. There are no thrills, not even a kettle in the room. But it is right next to the tram on a direct 15 minute line into the city centre. The trams run frequently, even later at night.
A weird interaction checking in. We arrived before checking in time, but asked anyway if we could check in. Without even checking if our rooms were ready we were told no. We pointed we had two rooms booked just as a second request, so the person on reception checked her computer and then decided we could check in as the rooms were ready. Strange.
Beds were very comfortable, air conditioning and opening windows. The hotel was fine for what we wanted."
"I stayed in a renovated room and had no complaints. AC was great, space was large and comfortable. The hotel is right next to a convenient bus stop. It does take about 25 minutes to get to the train station by bus, and it's a fair distance from Old Town. Breakfast wasn't worth the money, but it was convenient. Overall I would stay here, just have an idea of where you want to visit to know if this location is convenient."
