Jugendherberge-Flair im Boardinghouse
Ich würde das Greencity Boardinghouse etwas mit einer Jugendherberge vergleichen. Das Feeling und die Atmosphäre erinnerte mich auf jeden Fall sehr an Klassenfahrten von früher. Es gibt sehr gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsbereiche mit Küche, Wohnzimmer, Essensbereiche, etc. Allen Gästen stehen auch Waschmaschinen (Benutzung gegen eine kleine Gebühr) sowie Trockner (umsonst) zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer verfügen über kein eigenes Badezimmer, weshalb ein Gemeinschaftsbad genutzt werden muss, das sowohl von Männern als auch von Frauen geteilt wird. Die Duschen, die sich dort befinden, können nur durch einen Vorhang verdeckt werden. Auf dem Gelände des Boardinghouses kann umsonst geparkt werden. Die Unterkunft befindet sich etwas weiter auswärts vom Stadtzentrum. Insgesamt eine Unterkunft, die sich für eine Nacht eignet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhätnis stimmt meiner Meinung nach aber überhaupt nicht: Wir zahlten für die eine Nacht 67€. Da hätten wir auch ein Zimmer in einem Hotel finden können. Ich empfehle diese Unterkunft nur Leuten, die eine "Jugendherberge-Atmosphäre" genießen und sich nicht an geteilten Badezimmern, etc. stören.

Boardinghouse für aktive Urlauber
Ich hatte ein 1-Zimmer gebucht. Das Bett sowie die Bettwäsche waren sauber und hatten keine Flecken oder Auffälligkeiten. Der Raum wirkte auch auf mich sauber. Im Zimmer hatte ich ein kleines Waschbecken mit Spiegel, einen einfachen Schrank, Nachttisch, 2 Stühle und Tisch sowie 2 Handtücher. - Gemeinsame Küche, Wohnzimmer und Terrassen - Bücher zum Lesen, kleine Zimmer-Tischtennisplatte - benutzbarer PC (habe ich nicht genutzt) - Gemeinsames WC / Dusche (sauberer Eindruck, mit Desinfektionsmittel, besonders gut und hygienisch sind die Papiertücher) - Waschmaschine und Trockner stehen für längere Aufenthalte zur Verfügung (Waschmaschinennutzung kostet, Trockner ist gratis) - Hauseigener WLAN Zugriff - Achtung! 24 h betretbares Gebäude! Man besitzt nur den eigenen Zimmerschlüssel! Wer hier einen höheren Sicherheitsaspekt benötigt, der sollte ein Hotel aufsuchen. Es gibt keinen mir bekannten Safe im Zimmer. Ich habe auch keinen benötigt. Weiß aber auch nicht, ob die Rezeptionisten einen Aufbewahrungsort hierfür besitzen. Die Lage des Boardinghouse befindet sich in St. Georgen und ist so gelegen, dass der Sicherheitsaspekt weniger kritisch ist. Fazit: Sauber, zu Übernachtungszwecken absolut ausreichend. Besonders gut fand ich die grundlegende Sauberkeit der Duschen / WCs. Ich war meistens unterwegs. Das Boardinghouse eignet sich besonders für aktive Urlauber (Fahrradtouren, Wandern etc.). Eine Fahrradroute ist in rund 1 Minute direkt erreichbar (Fr 2). Volle Empfehlung!

Das nachhaltige Gesamtkonzept gefällt uns sehr!! Einfach, sauber, unkompliziert und freundlich, mehr braucht es nicht. Grosszügige Zimmer, frisch in den Farben und schönen Bildern. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen.
