"We had a very disappointing stay. After I reported being bitten and feeling bugs crawling over my body and head, staff were unhelpful and kept referring us to a manager who was never present. There were no other rooms available and nearby hotels were fully booked, so we had to remain. Staff replaced the bedding, but the linens still appeared dusty and I continued to get bites. Lifting the bed sheets revealed, large, old stains where my head and lower body rested. After many showers, my head would become itchy whenever I laid down on the pillows. So, I had to check the inner pillows, they were foul‑smelling, stained, and seemed unwashed. One inner pillow even had an old blood spot. We don’t know what kind of bugs caused the bites, but the room was dirty, poorly maintained, and unacceptable.
Because the bugs kept crawling on me, I couldn’t sleep. We showered, packed our belongings, and checked out early at 6:00 a.m., then searched for a laundromat because the hotel’s machines were dirty and did not accept quarters. I request a full refund and immediate corrective action -- the entire hotel is unsanitary, not just our room, and this must be addressed promptly."
