"The property is exactly as described; an absolute gem in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and provided us with a lot of information about local events and a variety of activities we could do. There is a shop next door and a choice of boulangeries nearby. The Vieux Port, the Towers and the market are all within easy walking distance. We loved every minute we were there."

"The property was lovely and light. Be aware it is up three flights of stairs. The location is perfect, just off the harbour. The problem was that it was advertised with free parking 5 to 10 minutes walk away. On pressing the local agent I was told the Mayor had changed the rules and their suggestion of an alternative was totally unacceptable. Beware if you bring a car to La Rochelle it is definitely not car friendly. If you want secure parking go to car park P1 at the station, 60 Euros for the...

"Our stay at this apartment was just right for my husband, daughter, and me. A spacious layout, 2 baths, a well-equipped kitchen, and parking with in-out priviledges made our stay in Bordeaux very comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again."
