We visited Hotel La Marisa for three nights in September with friends and chose the hotel based on location and value. It definitely succeeded on both fronts! The location in St. Jean de Luz is perfect - close to the beach plus walking distance of all the main restaurants and shops in the town. Plus, since this one of the bigger towns in Pays Basque you can easily rent cars nearby, get the train, etc.
