"Very helpful reception staff"

"Had a great two nights stay...we were given a room upstairs at the back which was nice and quiet..the en suite was a little tight but clean...the bedroom was compact but nicely laid out...the range of teas/coffee including hot chocolate and biscuits are a lovely touch... bathroom range of soap/shampoo/lotions are of good quality...had a great stay.. will be back... "Convenient but road is very noisy for a stay in Southampton for St Marys attendance. Bed was a little uncomfortable for someone who is 6'2" but facilities were clean and safe. Good to have free parking and overall about right value for money."

"We were welcomed and shown our room which was very comfortable, especially the beds. It's a lovely pub right in the centre of town and a minute's walk from the ferry. Only one key between the two of us. We're not a couple so may have wanted to go home at different times which would've been awkward. The bathroom layout was weird. The bath was placed under a sloping ceiling so you couldn't stand up for a shower, and the door didn't lock. Nice hot water though."

"The hotel was very convenient and close to the seafront. The room was comfortable and it had a walk-in shower which I needed. I also have difficulty with stairs, so I chose the hotel because it has a lift. It also has plenty of parking and the staff were very friendly. Will stay there again next time I visit the Isle of Wight."

"An excellent overnight stay with a very good sized room. The food was too a very high standard and a good choice from the menu. Only issue I had was the bathroom was very hot despite the towel rail was not on and could not see how to turn the heating off , this is a minor issue but would recommend this hotel to anyone staying nearby"

"Ideally situated for a good walk between Sandbanks and Bournemouth. The food is lovely and has a good choice of gluten free meals, which was good for me, this also applied to the breakfast. The rooms could do with a bit of redecorating but perfectly adequate. Note that if you are a night owl or early riser you have to access the room by the fire exit stairs leading from the car park as the middle door to the pub and front door is locked as soon as pub closes and before breakfast.
