This is a very nice location and quite well run but could use some heavy duty maintenance. I would stay again but could not recommend to discerning travelers.

A Gem in the Black Forest

Very nice hotel in the Black Forest. We had a balcony, which was nice since it was raining. We could still sit outside. Excellent breakfast. Nice indoor and outdoor pools, but the weather wasn't swimming weather when we were there so we couldn't try it.

June 2024 stay.

This hotel was OK at best. The front desk is not staffed from 11 pm to 7 am, so you cannot check in or out during that time. Much of the staff seemed to look at customers as a bother. Breakfast was poorly supplied. i.e. eggs ran out quickly and were not replenished any time soon thereafter. Rooms were reasonably comfortable.

Das Hotel wirkt heruntergekommen, Charme der 70-iger Jahre. Personal mäßig freundlich. Nach 3 Tagen sind weder leere Flaschen noch Gläser (alles Getränke aus dem Hotel) vom Reinigungspersonal entfernt worden. Parkplatz trotz Buchung und Bezahlung kaum zu benutzen, da viel zu eng. Eine Empfehlung kann ich nicht aussprechen.

Schönes Hotel. Zum teil bisschen veraltet. Parkplätze ums Haus. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich . Das Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick in den Hauspark war sehr schön. Frühstück war ok ist bisschen cantinen feeling. Im wellnessbereich ist leider das schöne aussenbecken nicht in Betrieb. Hallenbad ist schön warm und wasser erfrischend. Saunen gab es glaub 3 die haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Es gab auch ein spieleraum für kinder oben und ein spieleraum für grosse mit Dart, Tischkicker, Billard und Tischtennis (nicht neu aber bespielbar)

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Personal hat sich bemüht. Essen und Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Zimmer sauber, man sieht, dass immer wieder renoviert wird. Man kann sagen, es war in Ordnung.

Ruhiges gemütliches Hotel. Toller Service besonders an der Rezeption und Bar. Beim Frühstücksteam kam es drauf an , welches Team Schicht hat , da gab es Unterschiede. Trotzdem würden wir wiederkommen. Gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis.

Bon accueil, personnel sympathique. Rien de négatif à signaler, mais l’hôtel (très propre) a vieilli. Il mériterait un coup de jeune pour retrouver tout son attrait. Parking un peu petit par rapport à la capacité de l’établissement.

Kommen gerne mal wieder ...

Unser Aufenthalt war zwar nur kurz aber super! Super ruhige Lage und trotzdem gut am öffentl. Verkehrsnetz angebunden so daß man kostenlos Busse u. Bahn benutzen konnte, schönes Schwimmbad und ganz hervorragendes Frühstück ( da hat es an nichts gefehlt! Auch das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit!

Postiv: Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Hotel bietet viele Freizeitaktivitäten wie Sauna, Schwimmbad, Kegelbahn, Poolbillard, Kicker. Das Hotel ist großzügig gestaltet und bietet auch einen Barbereich. Das Parken ist auch kostenfrei auf der Straße direkt vor dem Hotel möglich, wodurch keine zusätzlichen Kosten entstehen. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend geräumig. Im Preis imbegriffen ist auch eine umfangreiche Gästekarte, mit der man viele Attraktionen in der Umgebung kostenfrei nutzen kann. Negativ: Das Hotel ist wahrscheinlich über die Jahre immer weiter gewachsen, wodurch die Wartung des Hotels erschwert wird. Dies wird an einigen Stellen im Hotel sichtbar. Der Poolbillard hat einen signifikaten Krähenfuß in der Oberfläche und es ist kein schadfreies Queue vorhanden. Der Kickertisch ist nicht gewerblich gereignet und ebenfalls schadhaft. Der Außenpool stand nicht zur Verfügung bzw. wurde gerade saniert. Balkonbrüstungen sind marode. Das Essen, falls keine HP gebucht wurde, ist im Restaurant m.E. etwas teuer und daher ein Besuch in der Stadt zu empfehlen.
