"Hotel São Bento is a beautiful hotel in a great location near Peneda-Gerês national park. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly, kind, and helped us in English to address our limited Portuguese vocabulary. - at night, outdoor lights were not functioning (from the restaurant to the pool area)
- room 301: entrance door needs repair. Toilet seat super noisy. The shower floor is bent in the wrong direction, so there is always a lot of water left.
- room service was minimal (no towel refresh, no water added after the first day)
- there are not enough sun beds at the pool area. There were often none left at around 4-5p
- breakfast could benefit from fresher/more ‘homemade’ options. There were too many industrial cheese/jam/bread/toppings. Not a bad breakfast but given the good quality of the restaurant on the evening we were expecting something better."
