The Ferienkate am Deich is located in the small, quiet North Sea resort of Friedrichskoog, in a holiday home area, in a quiet cul-de-sac only 300m from the North Sea. The holiday home is not far from the North Sea dyke, which can be reached via a footpath. There is a guarded North Sea beach with children's playground, beach chair hire, a separate nudist beach and a dog beach.
The North Sea with its stimulating climate is also worth a visit in winter. Many guests visit us in spring, autumn and winter. A holiday on the North Sea in the cold season is a very special experience. The beaches entice you to take long walks in the clear air, a walking tour on the dyke gets your circulation and soul going. Shopping facilities are also available in Friedrichskoog in winter. The Kurmittelhaus is open The crackling fire in the fireplace, a hot tea, Pharisäer or a relaxing visit to the in-house sauna will warm you up. The small sauna for two people completes the holiday cottage's facilities.
From Easter 2024, under the motto "Friedrichskoog will become even more attractive", work will begin on strengthening the dyke. This will result in restrictions on the use of the beach section. The measures will be completed in stages so that one section will always remain usable. The spa gardens will be completed in spring 2025 and work will begin on the second section of beach. The Trischendamm will not be affected until 2026 and will be available to nature-loving holidaymakers until then (restrictions may apply).

We would like to expressly point out that the beach cannot be used as usual. In some cases, access to the beach will not be possible. Please inform yourself before booking on the mentioned homepage. We have adjusted our prices accordingly so that you can enjoy a bargain holiday, but have to accept restrictions. Friedrichskoog offers many alternatives, such as a free shuttle to the nearest beach or construction site tours. There will also be live music in the Kurpark or a "beach club".
Everything should be completed by 2026. Construction work is currently on schedule (as of summer 2025) so that you can enjoy a "new" Friedrichskoog.

The holiday home has a car parking space and a 500 m² garden. The sunbathing lawn and terrace are on the south-west side of the holiday home. A garden table with chairs, a beach chair and a parasol are available. The spacious living room is modernly furnished with a leather sofa and has a wood-burning stove (from 2024). The house is also equipped with Smart TV, internet radio, washing machine and gas central heating. The modern fitted kitchen with an integrated dining area and extendable table offers plenty of comfort for up to 6 people and is equipped with an electric cooker (induction) with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. There are 3 bedrooms in the house, which can accommodate up to 6 people. The bedroom on the ground floor has a box-spring double bed. The two rooms on the upper floor are equipped with 2 single beds and 1 pull-out double bed and the option of adding a travel cot. A travel cot and high chair are available for small children. The floored bathroom is bright and modern and has a comfortable real glass shower cubicle, it was completely modernised in 2024. We provide a hairdryer.
