Our property is located about a mile east of the Castle Rock County Park. We are about 20 miles north of Wisconsin Dells, 8 to Northern Bay Golf, 12 to Roch-A-Cri State Park. Steps from a public Wisconsin natural area. Handicap accessible. Tentatively three full baths by summer of 2025!

Minimum stay is flexible. Excellent location! Large, spacious, 'cabin like' home on 10 wooded acres to play and roam. Sleeps 19 in beds comfortably with additional sofa/futon sleep options. Two full baths. Wildlife outside 3 large patio doors. Large attached furnished deck with fire pit. Firewood bundles available for purchase on site. Additional fallen wood can be gathered on site. Kitchen fully stocked with dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, griddle and crock pots. Cabin is stocked with many games, poker chips, volleyball net, sand and yard toys. Washer and dryer, bed linens and kitchen towels are provided. Bath and beach towels are not provided to reduce laundry needs.

Launch your boat nearby and spend the day on Castle Rock Lake swimming, waterskiing or fishing. The lake has many restaurants/pubs with public piers to park your boat, live outdoor bands during the day and beach volleyball. Jet skis, pontoon boats available for rent from nearby Big Papa's Pontoon Rentals. Enjoy the playground or sandy beach at the nearby park (with public boat launch) Take a day trip to Wisconsin Dells. Play 9 or 18 holes at the renowned Northern Bay Golf Course. Close access to ATV routes and snowmobile trails. Have dinner in a crock pot waiting for when you return or fire up the camp style charcoal grill. Then spend the evening playing games on the large indoor and outdoor tables and roast marshmallows over the fire pit.

Many state parks and natural areas to enjoy hiking and walking trails. The Dells offer just about everything including water parks and bungee jumping.

Interior has maple cabinetry, hardwood and tile flooring, pine car-siding and trim, stone surround fire place with electric insert. Mosquito free attached porch for gatherings inside with an outside feel. Porch has additional dining table and chairs. Great value for the sleeping accommodations with all the comforts of home. Base nightly rate is for up to twelve people. Additional guests are $10 per nights per person. All pets are $20 per night per pet. Furniture and amenities may not be exactly as pictures as things are constantly being updated. WIFI included with You Tube Tv streaming service.

Prior to departure all guest are asked to remove all used bed linens and begin washing and drying as many as possible, remove all trash and recyclables and place in the correct bins outside. Return cleaned dishes and all items to their location upon arrival.

Family girls weekend

Visited for a girls weekend my sisters and cousins and aunts. Listing was great for a larger group like we had. Everything on the posting was accurate. Very easy communication and check in and check out processes. Great property to stretch our legs and a great area to find some nice hikes. Perfect for the weekend.

Girls Weekend Getaway

4 sisters, 3 SIL and 5 nieces - Our first getaway with just girls. Very quiet location but beautiful - went on a few different nature trails - a few deer and turkey in backyard - Campfire at night. House was well stocked with what we needed. A few mattresses were a bit soft to our liking and staircase to get to loft looked a little over whelming but it was easy to navigate (even with old knees)

Group Getaway

The house was about 4 hours away from Chicago and easy to find. The property seemed well-maintained and was fully-stocked with everything our group needed. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Weekend stay

There was 10 of us all adults. Although the house can sleep 16 some of the beds were more for kids not adult men 200+ lbs. The house does have more than enough seating for sitting around and playing games both in and outside. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

Home away from home

We enjoyed the house. It was clean and had most everything thing we needed. It would be nice if the was a gameroom but it all worked out well. We played our board games and visited. Was nice to beable to have everyone under one roof. I'm sure in summer would be even better because has a beautiful screen porch and patio area. Thanks for shsring your house with our family.

Great spot for big gatherings or quiet weekends away

I want to first start out by saying these owners are great to work with and make everything very easy. I went up with a group of about 25 to enjoy the north woods and get some great golf in. This cabin is located less than 10 minutes from Northern Bay golf course, the course is amazing and features 7 replica holes. Check it out online You really cant beat the price/location of this cabin, we spent multiple days in the dells and at the casino, all are with in 30 minutes. Highly recommend!!!!!

quiet getaway for a large group

We really enjoyed our stay at Castle Rock. Plenty of room to sleep, dine and play. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch with the table that was large enough to play games on one end and put a puzzle together on the other end. The porch was also a great place for that first cup of morning coffee! Location was very conducive for site seeing. Comfortable. On the down side, the twin bed frame in the upstairs (room w/ double) was held together by zipties. I would not let my grandson sleep there. Also the griddle was broken and unsafe to use. Would be best to replace both items.

Excellent Family Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend with family! We were 3 "parent" couples and all our adult children, so the spiral staircase was not an issue. I gave accuracy of listing only a 3 star, as one of the bedrooms was listed as having two double beds and a twin, but it did not. I missed the listing description that said "sleeps 19 in beds" and went by the listings "Rooms & beds" that indicated the place sleeps 25. We were a little confused when we started assigning beds to everyone. Fortunately, we had a couple of no shows in our group, and a few that were only there for 1 or 2 of the 3 nights, and the right number of guys/gals and married couples, so we were able to accommodate everyone. Other than that, we loved the place. Made ample use of the fire pit, and the screened porch was great for storing suitcases, rather than truck them up the spiral stairs. We went to both Adams County and Juneau County parks and enjoyed the water, sand, and especially the sand volleyball court at Juneau.

good week despite lack of cleanliness

We rented this property for a girls family week. Upon arrival, it was immediately evident that the previous users HAD NOT followed the extensive list of cleaning responsibilities before leaving. We spent the first 6 hours of our vacation ( 7 adult women ALL cleaning) cleaning, washing dishes , doing laundry, mopping and vacuuming and cleaning two disgustingly dirty bathrooms. The owner nor any other representative showed up to check on the condition etc... of the home. This is a very nice home and location; however, it appears that the owner relies solely on renters to do all of the cleaning. This property needs a full, top to bottom cleaning. We left the property 100% better than we found it. Too bad the owner was unwilling to comp even one night for the problems we encountered when we arrived. That would have been the fair, equitable response to our predicament.

Wonderful stay

The location was perfect for our family Christmas with everyone coming from different areas. The property is very close to a nature area that we were able to cross country ski and walk too. The home is stocked with almost everything you’d need, and the owners are very responsive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A College Roommate Reunion

There were 5 of us who spent 5 days at the house. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. It was quiet and the surrounding woods were just beginning to show fall colors.we had the added bonus of seeing Northern Lights on our last night!

We had 19 people staying, the extra porch space is excellent for games-agree with someone else that having a brighter light option would be nice. There is a well put together binder with anything you could think of for things to do in the area. We went tubing down the WI river, rented a lily pad one day and brought it to one of the county parks to the beach, did some shopping in the Dells and hiking-plenty to do in the area-or is a beautiful space to sit and relax!

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for our family.

We liked the county park which was close and well maintained. Spent a lot of times in the Dells (25min.away) Noahs Ark, Dells boat tours, and walking the strip. Also, Knuckle Heads bowling and arcade and the outlet mall next door when the weather looked rainy.

Excellent trip

We had a great time here with a swim team of 10 plus coaches. There is a ton of space to spread out and sleep too. We hit up Noah’s Ark and the Dells plus tubed down the river. Had a great fire and played some volleyball on their net as well.
