"I have a lot to say in this post, but going to keep it short. Here is the list of concerns we experienced during our stay: - not kid friendly. Master bedroom is in a loft, which not only provides no privacy, but the railings are spaced out so far that a small child could fall through. We had our four year old twins with us and I was so nervous the entire time. We weren’t even able to shut the door to that room because there is no door on the master room. "We enjoyed Glacier View and the Kilcher homestead immensely! The property is just magical from the walk down to the beach to picnic or the evening campfires with amazing views. Catkins cabin has everything needed and she is a gracious and entertaining host. This was our family's favorite part of our Alaska trip and are already planning a return stay. Don't hesitate to see Alaska's splendor and the amazing Kilcher Homestead!"

"There were 8 of us staying on the property and we had plenty of room, beautiful views, and moose in the yard. It is a short ride to town, but nothing too far. The place was clean and shown as advertised. I wish we had more time at the property to do some exploring, but our travel plans changed due to weather and didn't get the chance. We did get to sit on the deck with the sun shining and enjoyed the view."
