"Clean, quiet, and a very nice place for a dog (leashed in our case). I loved the fact that it was difficult to hear highway sounds, music being played, or noisy people....we heard and saw deer, beavers, a couple of grebes and some geese. We also heard coyotes and owls when we sat outside by the table fire.The weather was colder that we would have liked, but house was nice and cozy.We are seriously considering returning during warmer weather to enjoy the ponds more between kayaking and fishing when the weather is good."

"Every time I stayed before the pool was not open. This time it was open and I was going to go swimming but the heater went out and it was closed again."

I'm sure had we asked we would have been provided one as the staff was very accommodating to other requests. We would definitely choose this hotel again should we find ourselves in Muscatine."
