"The hotel is simple but well located and room was comfortable, young lady at check in was very nice, the only thing we found odd was on the next morning my husband wanted to have breakfast, they had a buffet style spread and only one other couple were there, I never eat breakfast, just coffee, so we asked if I could sit with him so he could eat but she told us I would not be allowed in the dining room and for us to go eat somewhere else. We found her to be a bit rude, but we did find another...

"Out of town, remote n a side lane. Very difficult to locate, badly signposted from town. Car park detached on adjacent open field, totally open to public and therefore insecure. Spacious room. Individual meal prices exorbitant. Swimming pools closed for season, but we had not been informed of this when booking. "

La comida excelente, todo un acierto cenar allí. El único pero que puedo poner es la luz de emergencia de la habitación que ilumina mucho y tuve que tapar y el colchón, excesivamente duro. "The therapy pool is WONDERFUL! Note room occupants are limited to 1 hour of pool usage per night booked, bring your own flip-flop/slippers and swimming cap, those are required, or you will have to buy them"

The house is remarkable (inner courtyard, fireplaces in the rooms, lovely dining area) surrounded by pristine fields and orchards. We received first-rate service and hospitality. You have to go there to truly appreciate it. We plan to return."

"A great location by the river which is good for swimming. Full of interesting mill workings but a very comfortable house. Off grid electrics so the cooking facilities are a bit limited. In an isolated but beautiful valley and good walking paths ."
