"The set up of the light and a/c controls in the middle of the bed is not ideal. They should do like the hotel in Tokyo where the light controls are on the side of the bed for easier access. The laundry dryers did not dry my clothes even after an hour. The staff was amazing. For my birthday, they had 2 handwritten notes with good thoughts and origami cards."

"Return stay. Was here a few years before the pandemic and it looks the same. Everything clean and working fine. Large hotel across the street from Kyoto station. Easy to get to/from the station. Lots of shopping nearby and places to eat. Breakfast was very good and crowded! This is just a good place to stay if solo or part of a tour. Staff was excellent as usual."
