highly appreciate the toilet and bathroom as they are well cleaned and tidy, just like home. Other guests are friendly and nice to talk with in the common room. A bit far but still there are bus stops nearby which is very convenient to reach. Suggested to get off at ekihagashi 3 Chome if take bus A from airport, go reverse turn right and then left just for 3-5mins walk but better get a map with you first. You will find it very close to and avoid walking in the dark if you are afraid.
The rooms are clean and have a simple but nice interior. The staff and owner of the hotel are very friendly and make you feel right at home!
The location is a bit remote, but if you don't mind walking it's a really nice place to stay.
A great experience for a hostel/ guest-house stay. The staff was very kind. The place was kept clean. And the decor was fitting, including tatami floors in the bunk room. The breakfast was just toast, with butter and/or marmalade, but in Japan, that's a great deal at this price. I was able to sleep in as much as I wanted, as long as I dealt with the sounds of cleaning and vacuuming over the noon hour(s).
The only real negative is it's location. It's the one direction you don't want to go from Hakata Station. It's a 15 minute walk once you know where you're going and if you walk fast. The first time it took me closer to an hour to find the place. There isn't too much around, except your usual small restaurants, a convenience store, and an unusually large Pachinko Palace, given the area. Bikes can be rented to help make the travel easier, and the bus stop to the station isn't far away if you're willing to wait for it.
Overall, a pretty great place.
