Casa das Bromélias surprises on arrival with a breathtaking view of Funchal Bay and a lush tropical garden surrounding the villa, in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

The villa was built in 1996 in a quiet residential area.

The property is very spacious with several indoor and outdoor areas and corners for relaxing and socialising with family or friends.

The total indoor area is around 500 m² and the outdoor areas total more than 700 m².

The villa has three bedrooms with double beds (140 × 190 cm) and en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, main living room, dining room, library, bar room and Finnish sauna.

Outside, you can enjoy a spacious swimming pool, a tropical garden and an outdoor dining area. You can also enjoy the sweeping views of the city and the ocean, and watch the sunset.

It is equipped with air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, ceramic hob, microwave and other appliances, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, smart TV with international channels and other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The villa is in a quiet urbanization and is conveniently located in one of the areas of the Funchal amphitheatre with the best views, about 10 minutes by car to Funchal city centre and 15 minutes to the airport.

By car, there is easy access to the main roads and you can travel to any part of the island. There are also bus stops nearby for trips to the city centre.

There is a parking area on the property.

The pool can be heated on request for a surcharge. Pool heating must be requested at least 5 days in advance and will be confirmed with the payment notice. On cold days, the pool heating may not be enough to reach 24 °C, so we do not recommend heating the pool between November and April.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

If you have special needs or allergies, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to accommodate them.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
