The staff were excellent. The room large with two terraces facing in different directions . One overlooked the pool and had a table and chairs but the other was a perfect spot for the New Year fireworks . I slept extremely well. Breakfast buffet had a large fresh choice and chef who cooked to order . Highly recommend

The wi-fi and internet was fabulous and strong throughout and around the Hotel. The room was spotless each day, the air on superb, the room a nice size with balcony overlooking the sea and mountains, and into Funchal. Hotel staff, location, rooms and pool are superb!

My sister and I had a large room & bathroom in the new wing of the hotel. We thought the hotel was modern & spacious. The staff were very understanding and supportive when we had to cut our stay short by a day as my mum had taken unwell at home. We used the public buses to take us into the town centre & there was a great Italian restaurant round the corner called Stella D'ora
