Great city location, able to wonder straight out into the heart of aa safe and friendly location. few min walks from the marina. great café and restaurants. the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Listed as an air conditioned room and it was not. It has a non functioning air conditioning unit that just blows air. Staff was incredibly rude would pick up the phone in front of you instead of greeting you and asking you to wait a minute or helping you. Staff never addressed the ac issue. Door lock was not great. Pictures are probably from when they first opened, the lights were falling off the wall and hanging all sideways, shower leaked and wasn’t adjustable so you could actually use it. No sage place to drop off luggage

Idéalement situé à Funchal dans une rue calme et à 1 minute à pied d'une rue piétonnière agréable avec des restaurants variés. La cathédrale (le centre de Funchal) est à environ 5 minutes à pied. Un centre commercial est à 2 minutes et a un hyper marché pratique pour les achats pour les randonnées ou autres. La chambre dispose d'un micro-ondes, un frigo avec congélateur et même de plaques pour la cuisson... un ventilateur est présent. La chambre 29 dispose d'une petite terrasse sans vis-à-vis, pratique pour les fumeurs.

Pur avvertendo che lareo sarebbe arrivato in nottata e disponibile a pagare la notte in più sono stato accolto dal personale notturno in modo sgarbato. La mattina ho dovuto aspettare alle 14 per avere l'appartamento. La notte prima sistemato in albergo. Meno male che via email era tutto ok. Cordialità zero. Per completare ho lasciato 2 scarafaggi morti in bagno. Sono andato via e credo siano ancora lì. Niente aria condizionata solo un ventilatore. Telecomando TV non esiste dovete smanettare direttamente sul TV. Scomodissimo. Un po' rumoroso.

Razoavelmente bem, embora a falta de ar condicionado ter sido notada, o excessivo calor sentido no apartamento. Foi de imediato minimizado com a colocação de uma ventoinha que logo melhorou a sensação térmica mais fresca.

Descrição no site enganosa. O hotel não está funcionando no local da Foto. Está em outro local na mesma rua e na rua lateral com entrada separada da recepção. Limpeza péssima. Não trocaram a roupa de cama.

Tradeoffs

The staff was nice, they gave me the things I wanted (balcony and fridge) and they didn't whine about face diapers. The room I got was in much worse condition than expected and nothing like the pictures but bareble. It was also really hot, even if the balcony door and windows were open the whole night and it only resulted in mosquitos in the room. Location is very good and the room was one of the cheapest I found.

The room was freezing in December so I had to keep the windows closed mostly, however opening them during cooking as much as possible. I will admit this was not totally sufficient to air the room out from the cooking. Cleaner and manager being very rude and insistant on entering the room, during middle of COVID times, due to the food smell, I told them I would open windows to air room. The rudeness was uneccessary and I cancelled my future bookings and had a great month in other hotels/apartments with no similar issues, becuase these hotels had good ventilation and/or heating.

The hotel needs to have large scale renovation. The reception entrance is dark and un-inviting. The TV in the room was outdated by at least 20 years. After using the toilet or shower I would be deafened by the pipes making a terrible whining noise. The Shower curtain rails need to raised because the shower curtains are bunched up at the bottom of the shower tray. The room and bed sheets were clean and neat.
